Coffee Cake

• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
• 1/2 cup butter

Topping

• 4 tbsp butter
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 4 tbsp flour

   Preheat oven to 400°F.

   Cut butter into dry ingredients until crumbly.

   Mix in eggs and buttermilk.

   Spread half the batter in a 9-by-13-inch pan.

   Sprinkle with half the topping mixture.

   Repeat the batter and topping layers.

   Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
